Terms of Service

Photogenic AI is operated by Alperen Ciftlikci, an individual seller ("we", "us"). You can reach us at any time at photogenicai.app@gmail.com.

Photogenic AI offers AI photo tools, text-to-image and image-to-image generation, and chat-based photo editing. The service runs on Google Cloud and Firebase infrastructure, and AI processing is performed by Google's Gemini image models through Google Cloud Vertex AI.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Our marketing pages and example gallery can be viewed without an account, but generating or editing images requires signing in with Google or a passwordless email link.

You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure and for everything that happens under your account. Please let us know promptly at photogenicai.app@gmail.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission. One person may hold one account; creating multiple accounts to collect extra free credits is not allowed.

Each AI generation or edit costs a number of credits, shown before you start. Credits are deducted when a generation begins and are automatically returned to your balance if the generation fails.

• New accounts receive a small number of free starter credits, once per person.
• Results created on the free tier carry a small watermark.
• Promo codes may grant additional credits. Each code can be redeemed under the conditions announced with it and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Credits have no monetary value outside Photogenic AI, are personal to your account and cannot be transferred or sold.

We may adjust the credit cost of tools in the future. Any change applies only to generations started after the change and is shown in the app before you confirm.

Photogenic AI offers monthly and yearly subscriptions that include a credit allowance, as well as one-time credit packs. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page before you buy.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments (Dodo Payments Inc. and its group companies). Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: you buy from Dodo Payments, which handles payment processing, invoicing, applicable sales taxes such as VAT, and order-related inquiries and returns, and emails you an invoice and receipt for every purchase. For an invoice or a refund you can contact Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com) or write to us at photogenicai.app@gmail.com. Your purchase is also subject to the Dodo Payments Buyer Terms (dodopayments.com/legal/buyer-terms). Refunds under our Refund Policy are issued through Dodo Payments to your original payment method. Prices shown include tax. We never see or store your full card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Photogenic AI is built for creative, respectful photo editing. When using the service, you agree not to create, upload or request:

• Face swaps or deepfakes, or any content that places a real person in a scene or situation they did not take part in in a misleading way.
• Content that impersonates another person, or that is intended to deceive others about who is depicted.
• Imitations of a real person's voice, or any attempt to use the service for voice cloning.
• Images using the likeness of a real person without their consent.
• Sexual, nude or other adult content of anyone.
• Any content involving minors in a sexualised, suggestive or exploitative way. We report such content to the competent authorities.
• Imitations of celebrities, public figures, brands, trademarks or the distinctive style of a named artist.
• Content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent or that promotes discrimination or self-harm.
• Content that infringes someone else's copyright, privacy or other rights.

You also agree not to interfere with the service, bypass its limits or safety systems, scrape it, resell access to it, or use automated means to create accounts or generations.

Only upload photos of yourself, or of people who have given you their consent to be photographed, uploaded and edited with AI. Before your first generation, we ask you to confirm this. If a photo shows anyone under 18, you may only upload it if you are their parent or legal guardian, and the edit must be appropriate.

You are responsible for the photos you upload and for having the rights and permissions needed to use them.

To keep Photogenic AI safe, uploaded photos, prompts and generated results are checked by automated moderation systems, both before and after processing. Requests that appear to break these terms may be blocked, and content may be removed. If a generation is blocked by moderation, the credits it used are returned.

If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, we may suspend or close your account. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond at photogenicai.app@gmail.com. Credits lost because of an account closure for a serious breach are not refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.

AI-generated images are created automatically and may be imperfect, inaccurate or different from what you expected. Similar requests can produce different results. We do not guarantee that a result will meet a particular purpose.

Tools such as Star Style create generic looks inspired by a type of style. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by or meant to depict any real person, and their names do not refer to any specific celebrity.

You are responsible for how you use, share and publish your results, including making sure that this use is lawful and does not mislead others. Please do not present AI-edited images of real people as authentic photographs where that could deceive someone.

You keep all rights you have in the photos you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display your uploads and results only as needed to provide Photogenic AI to you, including sending them to our AI processor and running moderation. We do not use your photos for advertising and we do not sell them.

Subject to these terms and to any rights of third parties, you may use the results you create for personal and commercial purposes. Because results are produced by AI, they may not be eligible for copyright protection in every country, and similar results could be created by other users.

The Photogenic AI name, website, design, software and example content belong to Alperen Ciftlikci and our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to use them other than to use the service.

We work to keep Photogenic AI available and reliable, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may need to pause the service for maintenance, and third-party AI or cloud providers may occasionally be unavailable.

We may improve, change or remove tools over time. If we discontinue Photogenic AI entirely, we will give reasonable advance notice and refund the unused part of any active paid subscription and any unspent purchased credits.

You can stop using Photogenic AI at any time. You can delete your account from your account settings, or ask us to delete it by writing to photogenicai.app@gmail.com. Deleting your account permanently removes your photos, results, chats, credit history and profile, as described in our Privacy Policy. Unspent credits are lost when an account is deleted, so please request any refund you are entitled to before deleting.

If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account so it does not renew.

Photogenic AI is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not give warranties beyond those expressly stated in these terms.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by your breach of these terms or by how you use the results. Our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid for Photogenic AI in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's country of residence, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

If something goes wrong, please contact us first at photogenicai.app@gmail.com. Most issues can be solved quickly and informally.

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. If we make a significant change, we will let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you do not agree with the new terms, you can stop using Photogenic AI and delete your account; any refund rights under our Refund Policy still apply.
